I have had an interest in photography for as long as I remember but it has only been in the past seven or eight years that I have pursued it seriously. With the introduction of Digital Technology a new world was opened up to me, a world that I love exploring.
Photography isn't my only passion, I'm also an accomplished programmer in various languages and have been in the Information Technology game for more than 20 years.
I lived in Narooma NSW for just over 10 years (until November 2008) where I had a small but very busy Mobile Computer Repair Business. I also took on a lot of Wedding Photography which I loved doing. I found that where I excel in photography is making ordinary everyday people look stunning in an artistic way. That is where I get the most pleasure from photography.
Right now I'm setting aside only a few days per month for photography and for the rest of the month I'm an honest and trust worthy car salesman. After 20 something years in the Computer business I needed a break from it - in fact I hope I never see or fix another computer for as long as I live.
I don't intend to do photography full time (at this stage), whilst it is more than a hobby to me I suspect that I would lose my interest and passion if I was doing it every day all day. So, for now three or four days a month will be photography and nothing else.
