Local Web Hosting
This web site, and a few others I own, are hosted on servers I operate myself. The hardware required to run the Mail Servers, Web Servers, FTP, PHP, MySQL, and other protocols are located in Narooma. I operate a small Web Hosting Service which provides cheap and reliable web hosting to the Narooma business community and local individuals.
I beleive in supporting local business when ever possible. Although not everyone feels that way because an awful lot of businesses and organisations have their sites hosted overseas or have their web sites designed by people or businesses outside of the area. That doesn't make any sense to me, surely keeping local dollars local makes good business sense. Oh well, what would I know with only 22 years experience.
